Terms of Use
Last updated: 10 September 2026 · Applies to the Hindu Bhakti Sangrah apps for Android and iOS, and to this website.
1. Acceptance
By installing or using Hindu Bhakti Sangrah (“the app”), published by Mrutyunjay Studio, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. What the app is
The app is a free devotional reader offering aartis, chalisas, mantras, the complete Sunderkand, vrat kathas and the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita in Marathi, Hindi and English, with optional text-to-speech recitation. It is provided for personal devotional and educational use.
3. Your account
Signing in is optional. You may sign in with Google, or, on iPhone and iPad, with Apple. Either way we never see or store your password, and if you use Apple’s Hide My Email we only ever receive the private relay address Apple gives us. You are responsible for activity under your account. You may sign out or delete your account at any time — see Delete account.
4. Community content
Comments and Chintan posts are public and are shown alongside your name and profile photo. You keep ownership of what you write, and you grant us the permission needed to display and store it within the app so other devotees can see it.
When posting, please do not:
- post content that is hateful, abusive, obscene, or that demeans any religion, community, caste, or individual;
- harass, threaten, or impersonate anyone;
- post spam, advertising, or links to unrelated commercial material;
- post anything unlawful, or anything that infringes someone else's copyright;
- share other people's personal information.
We have no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour. We may remove any post that breaches these rules, and we may suspend or permanently terminate the account of anyone who does so. You can delete your own posts at any time.
5. Reporting and blocking
Every post and comment carries a menu with two controls:
- Report — flags the post or comment to us and asks you for a reason. Reports are private; no other devotee can see that you filed one.
- Block — hides everything that devotee has written, immediately, and keeps it hidden.
We review every report and act on it within 24 hours, removing the content and ejecting the devotee who posted it where these rules have been broken. You can also write to us at welldayreview@gmail.com about anything you have seen in the app.
6. Devotional texts
The hymns, chalisas, mantras, Sunderkand and vrat kathas in this app are traditional devotional works in the public domain. They have been compiled, transliterated and translated with care and respect. If you believe any text is inaccurate or has been misattributed, please write to us and we will review and correct it.
7. Text-to-speech
Recitation uses the speech engine installed on your device. Pronunciation quality, and whether a given language is available at all, depends on that engine and the voice data installed on your device — not on the app. If no voice is installed for a language, the app will tell you and you can add one in your device's text-to-speech settings.
8. Availability
Reading works entirely offline. Sign-in, cloud backup, likes and community posts need an internet connection and may be unavailable during maintenance or outages. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of those optional features.
9. Intellectual property
The app's name, logo, design, code, translations and compilation are the property of Mrutyunjay Studio. You may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative apps from them without written permission. You are, of course, free to read, recite and share individual hymns.
10. Disclaimer
The app is provided “as is”, for devotional and informational purposes. It is not a substitute for guidance from a priest, teacher, or any professional advice — medical, legal, financial or otherwise. We make no warranty that the app will be error-free or that any particular outcome will follow from its use.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Mrutyunjay Studio is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
12. Changes
We may update these terms; the date at the top will change and, for material changes, we will notify you in the app. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Maharashtra, India shall have jurisdiction over any dispute.
